Kat M. Garcés is a Colombian-American mixed media collage artist and graphic designer based in South Florida. Working under the name KAT M COLLAGE, she explores identity, memory, and the layered nature of self through surreal compositions made from vintage magazines, books, and found materials.

Her process is intuitive and experimental, using collage as a way to balance chaos and clarity. Through this evolving practice, she views fragmentation not as loss but as a path to understanding and self-discovery.

Kat studied at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she earned an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design and won the award for best portfolio. She has extensive experience in graphic design, having worked for various brands and currently contributing her expertise in the public sector. Kat has shown her work in group exhibitions, including the Art and Stroll Virtual Event held by Business for the Arts of Broward and the Sea of Art at Regatta Grove in Miami, FL, presented by Twenty6North Productions.
