Kat M. Garcés is a Colombian-American mixed-media collage artist and graphic designer based in South Florida. Her layered collages, crafted from magazine and vintage book cutouts, blend pop art and surrealism to explore the complexities of identity. Drawing from her belief that personal experiences are multifaceted, Kat's work invites viewers to look beyond the surface and discover the intricate details that shape our human journey, and the nuances that make us who we are.

Kat studied at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where she earned an Associate of Science degree in Graphic Design and won the award for best portfolio. She has extensive experience in graphic design, having worked for various brands and currently contributing her expertise in the public sector. Kat has shown her work in group exhibitions, including the Art and Stroll Virtual Event held by Business for the Arts of Broward and the Sea of Art at Regatta Grove in Miami, FL, presented by Twenty6North Productions.
