Speculative Nike Campaign
Just Do it. For Little you
A collaborative speculative Nike commercial about reconnecting with the freedom and confidence of your younger self. We combined dance, childhood objects, and mixed-media animation to make memory feel physical.
The Challenge
How could we translate reconnecting with your younger self into a Nike commercial, combining dance and mixed-media animation while filming across three states?
Research
While revisiting my childhood objects, I began reflecting on how confident and uninhibited I was as a child, and questioning why I had dimmed that part of myself as I grew older.
Those reflections inspired my original short film, Do It For Little You, exploring the importance of reconnecting with our younger selves. That concept later became the foundation for our speculative Nike campaign.
Development
The storyboard planned a conversation between adult and child dancers, filmed separately. The shoebox became a memory trigger. I created the paper-textured collage and frame-by-frame animation to connect the performances and evoke memory.
Resolution
A one-minute speculative commercial combining live-action dance with mixed-media animation, created collaboratively across three states.

Reflection
I learned that my visual language and perspective can contribute to commercial projects. This campaign showed me how memory and mixed-media collage could shape a brand story.
